Survey design, data collection, data analysis, documentation, and presentation
The project focused on survey design, data collection, and user perception analysis to support the proposed implementation of Low Emission Zones (LEZ) in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.
The study involved large-scale field surveys and stakeholder engagement to understand travel behaviour, awareness levels, commuter preferences, and public perception related to LEZ implementation. A total of 2,000 user survey samples were collected and analysed across the two cities.
The assessment also explored the potential impact of LEZ implementation on public transport mode choice, commuter behaviour, and willingness to pay for cleaner and more sustainable mobility options. The findings supported municipal authorities in understanding mobility patterns, identifying implementation challenges, and informing decision-making for the planning and rollout of LEZ strategies in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.
